Mathematics illuminates the patterns that abound in our world. The National Museum of Mathematics strives to enhance public understanding and perception of mathematics. Its dynamic exhibits and programs stimulate inquiry, spark curiosity, and reveal the wonders of mathematics. The Museum’s activities lead a broad and diverse audience to understand the evolving, creative, human, and aesthetic nature of mathematics.

MoMath is Manhattan’s only hands-on science center and the nation’s only museum centered on math. It has created an ongoing series of engaging, interactive mathematical exhibits and developed a broad array of diverse and engaging programs for people of all ages and backgrounds, including families, students, teachers, and the general public. To date, the Museum has welcomed more than one million visitors to its physical location in New York City and its reach, through traveling exhibits and programs as well as online offerings, now extends to more than 70 countries around the world.
